A glimpse at our garden

Gardening with kids is a great way to get them interested in nature. From the onset, children are inquisitive and learning how to design a garden for children will spark their curiosity even more. Last year, our first year of gardening, they loved to watch their plants grow and it was a great learning experience for them. Many educational subjects can be covered simply by gardening with kids.

I enjoyed how this post showed that science can feel exciting and natural when kids are allowed to explore outdoors. Back in school, my teacher once let us grow herbs in small containers, and it honestly made lessons easier to remember than reading from a textbook.  I even thought about whether to take my online class for me  modern learning because many students today try to balance structured education with hands on experiences like these. It really highlights how learning works best when curiosity leads the way.
